About the event

Pittsburgh Professional Women is pleased to welcome Grant Goldsworthy, Senior Government Advisor, and Lois Rouder, Sr. Partner Manager, Socially Responsible Purchasing with Amazon Business. If you sell a product and want to reach more buyers online, this is what you've been waiting for.

This information is especially important if you have a small business or minority certification.  With more than 200 million paid Prime members worldwide serving customers in 100 countries, timing has never been better to expand your reach. Amazon customers buy roughly 7,400 products per minute from U.S. sellers. The Amazon Business Team is ready to support you with their cutting edge tools to build, grow, and scale, so register now and learn all about it!

Amazons world-class logistics, rich data insights, cutting edge marketing and advertising + a proven customer experience offers small and minority businesses a growth opportunity with no ceiling—how big do you want to go?

Attend this online information session and learn how to create your very own dedicated storefront, where you can share minority certifications, small business status, and even use the "local" feature to sell to those close by. Your Amazon Business page allows you to communicate your core values, build loyal relationships, and expand your reach in an unparalleled marketplace.

The truth today is that it's easy to buy from Amazon, and there are conscientious buyers looking for women and minority-owned businesses.

Guess what? Amazon customers following a brand spend more than double that of non-followers.

During this presentation, Senior Goverment Advisor Grant Goldsworthy will share how  Amazon Business is implementing a Greater Pittsburgh Region-wide strategy with the city and other local agencies to intentionally and specifically buy from minority and women owned businesses.

Then, Senior Partner Manager of Socially Responsible Purchasing Lois Rouder will teach us how to:

  • begin selling on Amazon Business
  • use Amazon Business tools to grow and scale your business
  • list yourself as a minority/certified small business or distinguish yourself as "local"
  • access additional resources from Amazon Business

This will be a 90 minute presentation in order to allow time for questions.

Seating is limited to 100, register and show up early.
