Let’s be honest: owning a camera (or a phone with one!) doesn’t mean we automatically know how to take good photos or look good in them. That’s where Anita Buzzy Prentiss comes in. She's partnering up with Pittsburgh Professional Women for the Camera Confidence Workshop.
Join us on Sunday, November 2nd, from 1-3 pm at the Buzzy Photography Studio for this fun, hands-on workshop. You'll learn to ditch the stiff, awkward poses and learn how to look authentic, approachable, and confident in every shot—whether it’s a selfie, a quick team photo, or a professional headshot.
Whether you want to:
✨ Up your selfie and Zoom game
✨ Master your phone’s timer
✨ Or feel prepared (and relaxed) before your next professional photo shoot...…
this session will give you practical tools you can use right away.
We’ll cover (and practice together!):
When it’s worth hiring a pro vs. when your phone is just fine
Simple posing tricks that flatter every body type
How props can make you feel at ease and add personality
Strategic camera placement for your best angles
Finding the best light—indoors and out
Group shots where everyone looks good
Wardrobe + mindset prep to set you up for success
And yes… how to take a flattering selfie
This is a small-group, interactive workshop designed to boost your confidence in front of the camera. You’ll leave with new skills, less stress, and maybe even some shots you’ll love.
And the best part? Every ticket supports the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s because we're determined to raise $1 million this year. 💜
Here's the schedule for the rest of 2025:
