The Social Event of the Season:
A Bridgerton-Themed Tea Benefiting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Dearest Gentle Reader,
Prepare your gloves, polish your pearls, and don your finest bonnet… for the social event of the season is coming to Pittsburgh in grand style.
Pittsburgh Professional Women is delighted to announce our second annual Tea Party Fundraiser benefiting the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s, taking place Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the beautiful Club at Nevillewood.
And this year, the Bridgerton-themed affair promises to be even more elegant, immersive, and unforgettable than before.
Gather your mothers, daughters, sisters, and cherished friends for a delightful afternoon of traditional tea service, sweet indulgences, live music, laughter, and meaningful connection… all while supporting vital Alzheimer’s research and compassionate care for families impacted by dementia.
Bridgerton-inspired attire is most enthusiastically encouraged.
Guests will step into a world of refinement and whimsy featuring:
• Traditional tea service with exquisite treats and desserts
• Live music, including a strolling violinist
• Opportunities for shopping and silent auction bidding
• Keepsake photographs with the Duke and Duchess of Hastings
• The Society Chronicle commemorative event program
• “Notes from Lady Whistledown” and other surprises throughout the afternoon
• Elegant décor and immersive Bridgerton-inspired details
This year’s affair will also feature special guest Heather Abraham, beloved host of Pittsburgh Today Live and Talk Pittsburgh on KDKA-TV/CBS, serving as our honorary “Lady of the Afternoon.”
New this season, guests may choose from several ticket experiences, including:
• Individual Tickets
• Bring-a-Friend Packages
• Mother & Young Lady Seating
• Tickets for Two
• Tables for Eight
• VIP Tables for Sponsors
Beyond the elegance, the music, the tea, and society gossip lies something deeply meaningful. Whether one attends with dear friends, beloved family members, or treasured colleagues, every ticket purchased helps move us closer to a future without Alzheimer’s.
Today, more than six million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and millions more family members serve as unpaid caregivers every single day.
Women are especially impacted, both as caregivers and as those disproportionately diagnosed with the disease.
Funds raised through this event support groundbreaking research, compassionate care programs, and critical support services for families navigating Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
And here in Pittsburgh, hope is very much alive.
The University of Pittsburgh continues to lead some of the nation’s most promising Alzheimer’s research efforts, helping bring us closer to treatments, prevention, and ultimately, a cure.
Whether one chooses diamonds, distinction, or simple devotion to a worthy cause, every ticket, sponsorship, silent auction contribution, and donation ensures this season’s grand affair shall be remembered long after the final cup of tea is poured.
One must ask…
Will your name be among the season’s most notable benefactors?
We do advise securing your place in society promptly.
After all, the ton will certainly be talking.
