While many organizations have policies in place for diversity, equity, and inclusion, both management and employees often struggle with being effective allies for people with marginalized identities. This timely discussion with Jennifer Kennedy will cover the mindset and actions necessary for us all to become better allies in the workplace and the community.

Facilitated by Beth Caldwell, Executive Director of Pittsburgh Professional Women, this event offers an open and frank opportunity to learn communication strategies that foster a safe and inclusive environment for vital conversations about identity. ALL ARE WELCOME*.

Why You Should Attend:

  • Engage with Key Thought Leaders: Hear workplace communication insights from Jennifer Kennedy, a dynamic global trainer, facilitator, and coach, who has over 20 years of experience transforming workplace communication.

  • Gain Practical Skills: Identify key behaviors that demonstrate allyship, learn how to speak up for yourself and marginalized groups, focus on the impact of your actions, and use appropriate language to apologize when necessary.

  • Network with Peers: Connect with professionals, community leaders, and individuals committed to making a difference.

  • Be Part of the Change: Join a pioneering event that sets the stage for ongoing dialogue and action in our community.
