About Women Who Rock
Founded by our very own PPW member Melinda Colaizzi, Women Who Rock (WWR) is a trailblazing, female-founded, female-fronted, and female-produced organization on a mission to champion women in music and advocate for women’s health. Through concerts, pop-up events, and global campaigns, WWR amplifies female talent while raising funds for groundbreaking medical research.
Women Who Rock partners with the Magee-Womens Research Institute—the largest research institute in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to women’s health. This year, we’re proud to also highlight another PPW member, Sarah Shorthouse, who serves as Events and Activation Coordinator at Magee, bringing passion and expertise to advancing women’s health initiatives.
100% Headlined by Women – This Year’s Concert Lineup
Women Who Rock concerts are always 100% female-fronted, and every performance helps fund life-saving women’s health research. This year’s event will take place on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Stage AE, starting at 7:30 p.m.
